Her unique music sound, which merges her Afro-Caribbean rhythmic flair over heavy-hitting electronic world fusions, has sparked interest from music supervisors landing her music placements in film and television.  In Lionsgate’s international hit Step Up Movie series, where Celestina plays a recurring character, Celestina leaves her music artistry mark with not one, but two smashing records in the Step Up: All In motion picture– “Hands Up In The Air” and “Turn It Up.”  “Turn It Up,” a collaboration with singer, Bianca Raquel, produced by G'harah "PK" Degeddingseze (Chris Brown, Usher) was also released by Ultra Music on the Step Up: All In soundtrack featuring records by Diplo, Steve Aoki, Lil Wayne, Pitbull, and many more.

 

Celestina’s self-penned record "Hands Up In the Air’ is also featured on YahooTV’s original series Sin City Saints, starring Tom Arnold, Rick Fox, and Baron Davis. As a songwriter, Celestina has collaborated with Grammy Award winning and acclaimed producers and songwriters like: The Monsters and The Strangers (Rihanna, Kanye West, J.Lo, etc), Jeremy “Jhawk” Hawkins (Rej3ctz, YG, Chris Brown, etc.), Michelle Bell (Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, Diddy, etc.), L.P. (Rihanna, Rita Ora, Leona Lewis, etc.), Chris Rojas (P!nk, Big Time Rush, Jessica Simpson), and so on. Celestina has also toured as a featured singer on M⋅A⋅C’s GlamourDaze Industry Tour, sung with music sensational bands like, Wild Belle, performed as a musical guest for various charity organizations like “Dress For Success” and more.

 

In Film and Television, Celestina has also landed roles as guest VJ for MTV Tr3s, to cameos and co-star roles in feature films like Alvin and the Chipmunks, Norbit, TV series such as Empire on Fox, Malibu Country with Reba Macintyre and Travie McCoy, 90210, The Game, and National Campaigns for Ford, iPod, Crystal Light and much more.

Celestina has also been noted as a leading lady in the Dance industry, where she has ripped the stage as a featured soloist on the legendary artist’s “Welcome to America” tour and dazzled our screens in Prince’s phenomenal videos “Black Sweat” and “Musicology.” She has also played leading roles next to music sensations, Anthony Hamilton, Chris Brown, T-Pain and Robin Thicke to name a few.

Celestina is currently one of the faces for “Instruments of Africa” and features in the Black Panther Movie Soundtrack Video, All the Stars by Kendrick Lamar and Sza.

Hailing from the coast of West Africa, Celestina, is making a name for herself as a multi-talented recording artist. Celestina truly embodies her deemed “triple threat” title with a portfolio career that spans Music, Film/Television, and Choreography & Dance, accompanied with a Bachelor’s of Science in Music Industry from the number 2 ranked USC Thornton School of Music.
